Sales Transaction
Paying (non-cash) for merchandize (or services) at a store
Buying goods, weather it is a bar of chocolate, a dinner for two,
a car or a vacation, more and more takes place using credit and
bank cards. The example below can be used for most of the paying
process, enhancing the bank or credit card process with anonymity.
The process preceding this sales transaction, the selecting of the
right merchandize and the qualifying for sales processes, are separate
and usually specific to the merchandize

- The store formulates a SIRB request asking for the debiting
of its account for a certain sum of money.
- Signed (and thus approved) by the customer the request is send
to the SIRB
- The SIRB contacts the financial institutions requesting a response
from the one where the customer caries his account.
- after receiving this information the SIRB passes on the financial
transaction request to the appropriate financial institution.
- The financial institution performs the crediting of the customers
account (or not) and informs the SIRB of the sucess or failure
of this process.
- The SIRB informs the store and customer of the status of the
transaction
