Insurance Transaction

Insurance coverage of a service or merchandize

If a transaction is performed which should be recorded by an insurer, for statistical purposes, or because a financial reimbursement is to be performed (the service of merchandize is insured) the current processes usually include mountains of paperwork and a lot of time...

See how the SIRB would expedite and simplify this process

  1. If the purchase of a service of good is to be sent to an insurrer it is either because it is a good or service which is normally covered by insurance (e.g. medical expenses) or because the customer requests so.
  2. A summary of the goods or services bought is send to the SIRB terminal for the customers approval
  3. The request is transferred to the SIRB
  4. The SIRB contacts the insurance data repository to request the appropriate one for the particular customer and good or service.
  5. To the replying data repository the SIRB sends the encrypted transaction
  6. The insurrer sends back to the SIRB the status of the request
  7. The SIRB informs the customer (not the seller) of the status
